This wine had been stored without temperature control for several years, and I wonder how much of the caramel nose can be attributed to heat damage. Despite that, it still has some good (though slightly pickly) acidity and pleasant, earthy, aged-Pinot flavors. Nothing profound, but pleasant to drink. 13%ABV indicated. A Larry.
