TN: Rochford 1998 Pinot Noir, Macedon Ranges, Victoria (Australia)

This wine had been stored without temperature control for several years, and I wonder how much of the caramel nose can be attributed to heat damage. Despite that, it still has some good (though slightly pickly) acidity and pleasant, earthy, aged-Pinot flavors. Nothing profound, but pleasant to drink. 13%ABV indicated. A Larry.

Why am I tasting this? Because a friend poured it into a decanter and gave me a blind sample. Eeew. Blueberry creamsicle nose. Sweet and sticky fruit bomb, artificial style.
