Simple, cedar-and-stone-dominated, fruit-secondary cheap Bordeaux. This would be better than merely acceptable if the finish didn’t taste of cardboard. As it is, it’s still a good deal and a lot nicer than most cheap reds. Not overripe or over-alcoholic (12.5%ABV). ($6, Trader Joe’s)
